Spreading the Happy (Coffee)

The PTSA was thrilled to again be a beneficiary of the partnership between National PTA, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Happy Products as they donated one million cups of coffee to K-12 educators and staff across the country this fall. To shine a light on the one in six U.S. youth ages 6-17 who experience mental illness and encourage them to seek help, Happy Coffee (and owner Robert Downey, Jr.) reached out to PTA units to spread some happiness - so much, in fact, that that we were able to share the wealth with our friends at Cora Kelly, George Mason, Hammond MS, Patrick Henry, Polk and Tucker! A huge thanks to our tireless building engineer Mr. Juan Rodriguez Rostaing for helping us manage the distribution. We hope teachers across the division are feeling the love.
