The PTSA was mentioned recently in the May 8, 2025 edition of The Alexandria Times as part of their series highlighting school volunteers at the King Street and Minnie Howard campuses. School Board Member Chris Harris is pictured with many of our Board members at the PTSA First Day Coffee and our Outreach VP Sue Heiler Brown and DEI Chair Rachel Dixon are joined by ACHS Social Studies teacher Mr. Ra Alim Shabazz at the Staff Community Fair. Thanks to all the parent volunteers who joined us at these and other outreach events this year. We're proud of our work to reach new and diverse communities and we look forward to welcoming parents and teachers at events like these again next fall after a nice long summer break!
