Jazz Concert in Support of Special Ed Field Trip to Kings Dominion!

Join Special Education teacher Mr. Ethan Brock on Friday, April 24th for a Jazz Social Night fundraiser in support of a field trip for our Special Ed students! The event will start at 6pm at the Departmental Progressives Club in Old Town and include food, drinks, live music and a TON of fun. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $30 each and all proceeds will go toward sending 100-125 Special Ed students on an inclusive trip to Kings Dominion with a little more than half of the students attending being students with disabilities and the other students in general education. The trip is educational, as students will be required to either engage in a math project or a persuasive English project following the trip - but it will also be used as an end-of-the-year celebration! The PTSA has given $1000 to the effort. Please help us close the gap by attending the concert or contacting Mr. Brock directly to make a direct donation at ethan.brock@acps.k12.va.us.
