FY 2026 Budget Update

Great news from City Council! An additional $200,000 has been added to the mix for ACPS for a grand total of a $1.2M Add. While many other important priorities are being considered for the same pot of money, we’re grateful to John Chapman, Jacinta Greene, Abdel Elnoubi, Canek Aguirre and all City Council members for keeping public school students top of mind as they complete the difficult task of funding our city.

 

ACTION ITEMS:

 

1.   Join us on Tuesday, April 8th from 5:30pm-10:30pm in the Council Chamber (City Hall, 2nd Floor, 301 King Street) to show your support for more teachers at Alexandria City High School!
