Happy Coffee Donation to the PTSA

The Alexandria City High School PTSA was thrilled to receive a shipment of Happy Coffee this week in partnership with National PTA and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Founded by Robert Downey, Jr. in 2024 to combine his love of coffee and making people happy, Happy Coffee’s motto is “together, we can make things better” – a goal near and dear to the hearts of our volunteers. To shine a light on the one in six U.S. youth ages 6-17 who experience mental illness and encourage them to seek help, Happy Coffee reached out to PTA units to spread some happiness. Our shipment included three Keurig machines, 24 mugs, 504 Ready-to-Drink coffees and 960 Keurig-compatible coffee pods! No sign of Iron Man yet, but his amazing donations will be spread across our four campuses so that all 500+ teachers and staff at King Street, Minnie Howard, Satellite & Chance for Change can enjoy them.
