Dear ACHS family,

Our PTSA would like to invite you to join us and help make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children.  PTSA stands for the Parent, Teacher, & Student Association. All are welcome & encouraged to join.

We realize how important your children are to you and that you wanting the best for them.  The PTSA can help you achieve that! Students are able to accomplish more and improve the quality of their education when parents, school staff, students and our community work together.  Our PTSA can bring these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children. 

As well as providing the programs listed below, we also provide informational resources through workshops, videos, brochures and other communication channels.  Below is a partial list of the programs, which your PTSA sponsors.

• After Prom Party (Safe and Sober)
• College Scholarships
• Newsletter
• PTSA Website
• Red Ribbon Program which includes Every 15 Minutes 
• Reflections
• Staff Appreciation
• Student Health and Welfare Program
• Financial assistance to student programs and services as approved by the PTSA Board.

When you become a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals.  Dues are only $6.00 per member. You can join ACHS PTSA by filling out a membership envelope. Membership envelopes are available in the front office at ACHS. Please include your membership dues and return it immediately. 

There are scholarships available for graduating ACHS students who are members of our PTSA.   If you would like, you may include a donation of $25, $50, $75, or $100 with your membership dues.  The PTSA is separate from the athletic, music and other campus groups.  PTSA donations are tax deductible.
