Question: What’s an “Armchair Fundraiser”?

Answer: It is a fundraiser of the simplest kind – no selling anything!  Simply write a check and know that 100% goes to ACHS.

Question: What does the money go toward?

Answer: It goes toward all PTSA-funded programs for ACHS. We have over 15 different programs. Some include the Red Ribbon Program, which includes the Every 15 Minutes program, Reflections, and Staff Appreciation. Other programs funded by PTSA are Parent Education Evenings, Newsletter, and  Health and Welfare (helping students in need by paying for AP testing, prom tickets, and other items as needed).   We also hope to continue to donate to the Tutoring and Positive School Climate programs on campus.    

Question: How much money do we need to send in for this fundraiser?

Answer: The suggested donation is $25.00 per child. Larger donations are certainly appreciated.  Don’t forget that many employers have “Matching Fund” programs.  To submit donations, your student can bring your donation to the office or you may send it in the mail using the attached envelope addressed to the ACHS PTSA.

Question: Will this be the only PTSA fundraiser this year?

Answer:  Although there will be a limited number of other fundraisers this year (i.e., Silent Auction, Welcomd Driver, …), this one provides every family — some who may be unable to participate in other fundraisers — an opportunity to directly support our school. We encourage your support of this and other fundraisers, as you are able.
